Holy Heart Abbey (script and drawings: Štěpánka Jislová, 80 pages, 2015)

HHA is my bachelor project, that turned out to be way more challenging than I imagined. The idea for a monk order living in a land polluted by poisonous fog has been around for quite a while, I am pretty sure it mostly grew out of my need to visually connect the somewhat-gothic architecture, church memorabilia and gas masks. There’s still a lot work to be done, but if all goes well, Holy Heart Abbey will by published by the beginning of 2018.
